Creating intimate portraits is my passion. My Elora was created out of the need to give back to the community that nurtured me through both vulnerable and joyous segments of my life. There was a short intense period in my life when I lost my parents and my idea of family. Loss made me asks the question, "Who am I a now?". How could I remain the same without the love of my family? This is when I began to reach towards what I needed. While searching, I found community and in that community, I found family.

My Elora, The Grace of Belonging is a visual celebration of my community. These portraits run the gamut of intimate friends, casual acquaintances, and local eccentrics investigating both the beauty and blemishes of living in a small community.
